I moved to the Gunnison Valley in 1989, working as a reporter and editor at the Gunnison Country Times. In 1996 I returned to school at WSCU, and received my teaching license two years later. I am in my 19th year teaching, 17 as a fifth-grade teacher at Gunnison Elementary. Hobbies include mountain biking and cross country skiing, and I root for the Red Sox and Broncos (former students still bring up our fantasy football class activity)!
