PICK-UP: Please note that we have limited staff during our pick-up time. For the safety of our students, come to the front lobby of the elementary school side to pick-up your child. We ask that you please arrive no later than 4:55 pm. READTeam Coaches will take participants to the lobby to wait for families. Students will not be released outside on their own without a parent or guardian making contact with a READTeam Coach.

If late pick-ups become a regular occurrence, you will be contacted to discuss an action plan to ensure timeliness.  If, after a plan is set in place, your child is still being picked up late, we reserve the right to remove your child from the program.

If someone is picking up your child outside of your routine, please notify coordinator Mandy Harris prior to 2:00 pm of that day or send a signed note with your child to bring to his or her READTeam Coach.

How are READTeam Coaches assigned?

Participants are grouped by skills and grade-level. READTeam Coaches will be assigned based on their area of expertise. We are fortunate to have several highly qualified teachers as READTeam Coaches.

Will I be informed on my child’s progress?

We want to maximize the reading time we have with your child. Students have been given a diagnostic assessment that will inform both tutoring and reading during the school day. We will coordinate with teachers to communicate progress. If you have questions about how your child is progressing with reading, please contact their classroom teacher.
